Jonker Electricians Limited is listed on Registered Competent Person Electrical, confirming our Competent Person Scheme registration and demonstrating that we are approved as competent to undertake domestic electrical work in England and Wales as compliant with the relevant Building Regulations.
Competent Person Schemes were introduced by the Government to improve installation standards and compliance with the Building Regulations.
Our approval means we meet industry recognised standards and are registered with NAPIT who are authorised by Government and accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service for your peace of mind.
It means we:
· Can save you time and money by self-certifying work that would otherwise need to be inspected by Building Control*
· Meet strict scheme entry requirements, including holding appropriate qualifications, insurance, training and experience to demonstrate compliance with industry recognised standards
· Undergo regular technical assessments and business audits to ensure our on-going competence and integrity
· Supply the necessary Electrical Installation Certificates and Building Regulations Compliance Certificates if applicable. These are required to demonstrate compliance with the Building Regulations and BS 7671 and you will need them if you should come to sell your property
If you are not entirely satisfied with the service we provide, we will do everything we can to put it right. If any issue remains unresolved, you can also rest assured that you have access to an independent complaints process and work quality guarantee via our scheme operator.
Trust Mark Government Endorsed Standards
TrustMark is a quality mark which operates a framework under which 26 scheme operators work in the RMI (repair, maintenance and improvement) sector, including trade associations, local government trading standards teams, and independent scheme operators. These schemes are approved to carry the TrustMark logo and recruit reputable and trustworthy tradesmen. This enables the TrustMark scheme operators to promote improved RMI sector standards, and tackle related issues such as better enforcement. All of these scheme operators are audited annually by TrustMark, to ensure processes, standards and complaint procedures are being maintained.
Check a Trade runs strict background checks on tradespeople before they can become members. Once they join, members agree to have feedback from their customers put online for all to see.
